Passports!
- You need a
PASSPORT to travel to and from Canada. You can find all you need to know on this US Government web site about applying for or renewing passports.
- If you dont' have
a passport, remember it can take several weeks - that's right, even a
few months! So apply now. The best way to do so is to go to your most
conveniently located post office, where they have forms for passport applications.
- Have you heard about the PASSPORT CARD? As big as a credit card, serves as a passport for American travel with Canada and Mexico

Parental Permission Form
- Click here to see the Parental Permission Form for our pilgrimage
- It is Trailblazers policy to require this document to be
signed by the parents of the pilgrims who have not completed their 17th
year (that is, who have not yet had their 18th birthday) upon the date
of departure.
- This date is July 7, depending upon which program
the pilgrim chooses; therefore we require the date if the 18th birthday
is on July 7 or later.
- The date is calculated per the calendar in Detroit (remember, we cross the international date line)
- Each Trailblazer must agree to sign this Parental
Permission Form lest he or she forfeit his or her participation in the
pilgrimage
