The Editor's Thoughts on the March for Life . . .

Letter from the Editor
Volume 1 Issue 3 January 2007
Fellow Trailblazers,
Last week I was able to participate in the annual March for Life in Washington D.C. It was my fourth time going yet the experience was unlike any of the previous marches I have attended. I traveled with a local pro-life group in a bus with about two dozen other people. We were able to see a little bit of the city but the highlight of the trip was the actual March.
I would have to say that my most memorable experience was at a youth rally held at the Verizon Center in D.C. The entire center was packed. I believe there where even a few people standing. Mass was held there and I was astonished by the number of seminarians, deacons, priests and bishops that participated in the mass. I have never before in my life seen such a large number of religious gathered in one area. It was a very moving experience.
The March was just as moving. Although I have been there before, it seemed to me that there where a lot more people then usual. Maybe it was because I was unable to go last year, but I don't think that was the reason. I believe that there where a lot more people then usual. (Though I can't say anything for certain) I firmly believe that the pro-life cause is finally being noticed and people are paying attention to it. I pray, that in the near future, those of us who have participated in the battle will be able to hold a victory march rather then a protest march. Let us pray that Roe vs. Wade will soon be overturned and we will no longer have to live with the sin of murdering some many children.
God Bless,
