A Special Announcement from the Editor
Letter from the Editor
Volume 2 Issue 12 September 2007
Fellow Trailblazers,
Fall isn't usually my favorite time of year. It means the end of the
warm lazy days of summer, though this past summer was rather busy with
my first real job. The warmth fades from the days and the nights grow
longer. Not only does the world change, but most young people's
schedules take on a new task: school. Yes, school is definately one of
things I dislike most about fall.
Yet despite the changes that take place at this time of year, there is
a way for you to enjoy them. I'm not suggesting taking a walk in the
park, though it would be a good way to appreciate God's creation. No,
the activity I had in mind is of a different nature. Why not go on a
boat ride? Not on a nearby lake, but on the Detroit River. You can come
join Trailblazers as they raise money for next years big pilgrimage,
World Youth Day!! (click here for more info) All of the proceeds will go towards helping young
people fund their trips to see the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, in
Sydney, Australia. Please consider joining us as we enjoy this
wonderful time of year and help make young people's dreams of World
Youth Day come true.
God Bless You All!
